- Admission to Christian Liberty Academy will be determined by available space, past performance, recommendations, and testing.
- Testing is not required for Kindergarten or Preschool entry.
- All new students entering 1st - 12th grades must take an entrance exam. Exams will be taken during the summer months. Parents will be notified of the various times of admission testing throughout the summer.
- The administration also interviews all new students in 6th-12th grade before admission is granted.

Age Criteria: All students must be the appropriate age by Oct 1st. For example, your child must be 4 years old by Oct 1st to be in Junior Kindergarten, 5 years old by Oct 1st for Senior Kindergarten and 6 years old by Oct 1st for 1st grade.
Tuition Schudule: Payment Plans include 10 month (Aug to May) Semester Aug and Jan or Annual Aug. All payments are due on the 15th of the month.
Multiple Student discount: 1st student is full price; 2nd student is 30% off; 3rd student is 40% off; and 4 or more students are 50% off. Highest priced child is the first student. Preschool is not included in sibling discount.

Christian Liberty Academy provides a variety of financial assistance opportunities to help families afford a Christ-centered education for their children. For more details about any of these programs, please contact the finance secretary at finance@christianliberty.com
Referral Program
Current CLA families who refer a new family to CLA may be eligible to receive a tuition credit. To qualify, new parents applying to CLA for their child(ren) must name the referring family or families on the Referral Form at the time of application.
Referral Credits:
- Full Time Kindergarten - Grade 12 $500
- Part Time Kindergarten & Preschool $250
Credits will be applied half in December and half in May as long as the referred family is current.
Pastoral Discount
Full-time pastors employed at a local church may receive a 40% discount off the tuition.
Multiple-Student Discount
Our hope is that all children in a family attend school together. Our multiple student discount is for children from the same family enrolled in kindergarten through 12th grade. The highest priced child is the first tuition, the 2nd child is 30% off, 3rd is 40% off and 4 or more children are 50% off. Preschool is not included in sibling discounts.

CLA participates in the Invest in Kids scholarship program which allows students from families with incomes up to 300% of the federal poverty level to apply for awards valued as much as 100% of tuition. The need-based scholarship application is separate from the admissions application. The financial aid process opens on October 1st. If you are seeking aid for the upcoming school year, please contact the finance secretary.
There are two organizations who use FACTS Grant and Aid for Christian Liberty Academy: The Children’s Tuition Fund and Christian Liberty Academy. When filling out your application, please make sure to click both organizations.

We are excited to open our doors to students from other countries and believe it enriches our community. International students help our students learn firsthand the importance of cross-cultural relationships and about the peoples and nations that God has made.
A student is considered an international student if an I-20 is required for residency.

About Christian Liberty Academy

General Information:
Christian Liberty Academy is located in the beautiful Chicago suburb of Arlington Heights, Illinois. Our school serves approximately 450 students from preschool (3 years old) through High School. Our Academy is strongly rooted in teaching from a Biblical perspective and all classes are taught based on the truth of God’s Word. 2020-2021 Tuition and Fees for International (I-20 Visa) Students
High School Tuition: $15,700 (grades 9-12)
Middle School Tuition: $12,600 (grades 7-8)
Non-refundable registration fee/deposit: $245
Orientation fee: $255
Eligibility for Application:
Christian Liberty Academy will consider international students starting in grade 7. However, most spaces are available in grades 9 and 10. Students entering grades 11 and 12 must be able to complete our graduation requirements to be granted a diploma.
Application Requirements:
The following items are required for international admission:
Language
• Must receive a score of at least 52 on the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language).
Interview
• All students MUST have an admission interview (in-person OR online video call).
Transcript
• Bilingual, official copy sent directly from former school to CLA (current and previous year)
• Must include grades, attendance records, and standardized test scores.
Christian Liberty Academy will be happy to provide a tour to any international student AFTER the family has completed the application process. Upon completion of the application process, our Admission Office will offer a tour date that works with your schedule, or you can view our virtual tour.
